Earthquake rocks Jaipur : Jaipur and its surrounding areas were rocked by strong earthquake tremors early this morning. These shakes weren’t confined to just one area, but spread to multiple locations such as Bharatpur and Sriganganagar. Information from the National Center for Seismology revealed that the first tremor measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was pinpointed to Jaipur.
“I felt like there were sounds and woke up from my sleep. I definitely felt strong tremours. Everything in the room was shaking. I rushed out with other family members. I saw that everyone in our colony was already on the roads,” said Manoj Kumar, a resident of Nandpuri Colony in Sodala.
