By Janani K: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan have joined forces for the first time for Nag Ashwin’s big-budget flick, ‘Project K’. Ahead of the grand launch at San Diego Comic-Con, the makers of ‘Project K’ unveiled Prabhas’ first-look poster for the science-fiction film. The film, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, will be released in two parts, with the first installment releasing on January 12, 2024.
PRABHAS’ FIRST-LOOK POSTER UNVEILED
Just a few days ago, the makers dropped the first-look poster of Deepika Padukone from the film. ‘Project K’ is one of the most anticipated films in recent times.
On July 19 at 1.23 pm, Vyjayanthi Movies, the film’s production house, took to social media to unveil the first-look poster of Prabhas from the film. They wrote, “The Hero rises. From now, the Game changes. This is Rebel Star #Prabhas from #ProjectK. First Glimpse on July 20 (USA) & July 21 (INDIA) (sic).”

‘PROJECT K’ TEAM AT SAN DIEGO
Prabhas and Rana Daggubati twinned in ‘Project K‘ sweatshirts as they arrived San Diego. Similarly, Kamal Haasan also arrived in the US on July 18.
Deepika Padukone was earlier planning to attend the San Diego Comic-Con. Since she is a member of SAG-AFTRA, she will not attend the promotional event on July 21. The ongoing strike in Hollywood demanding more pay and several issues has been going on since May 2023.

‘Project K’ is written and directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame. The sci-fi film was announced on Vyjayanthi Movies’s 50th anniversary. The film is produced on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore, making it the most expensive Indian movie ever. ‘Project K’ will release in theatres on January 12, 2024.
Along with the star cast, Disha Patani also plays an important role. Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi, the film has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
